Waxed organic cotton outer shell
Our custom Halley Stevenson’s waxed organic cotton is highly weather proof to keep your gear nice and dry on those rainy days. The dry impregnated waxed finish doesn’t crack or transfer onto other garments – but ages beautifully.
Custom stainless steel hardware
Our custom M02 grade stainless steel buckles are laser cut and polished in our hometown steel city Sheffield.
Vegetable tan leather details
Our durable extra thick vegetable tanned British leather buckle loops, grab handle & logo patch age beautifully to a rich patina. Hand cut and embossed in Derbyshire.
Covert stash pocket with waxed organic cotton internal sleeves, perfect for keeping your valuables close, yet accessible. Finished storm flap and taped YKK zip.
The internal cotton laptop sleeve fits most 15″ laptops (up to 235mm x 390mm).
Perfect for water bottles and other non-valuables. The profiled design means they sit flush with the side of pack when empty.
Wool rich repurposed padding
Most backpacks use foam padding made from petrochemicals, our straps and back padding is made from repurposed wool rich carpet fibers from a premium carpet manufacturer in Yorkshire. Comfy, natural and sustainable.
Designed for every day adventures in the wild and the city
In the making
Our Winnats Roll Top backpack began life as a scribble in founder Mark Musgrave’s sketchbook. We brought the idea to life through a Kickstarter campaign in 2017 supported by our community of adventurers. Take a look at the creative journey in our video above. Read More
