Beautifully made, strong yet light weight and should last for years, an absolute delight.
Bring the weatherproofing back. This reproofing spray is made by Halley Stevensons, the Dundee mill behind the waxed organic cotton in every one of our backpacks. It restores water resistance to your backpack, overshirt or cap with a dry, fluorocarbon free finish. Repaired, not replaced.
Waxed cotton is made to last, and a little care keeps it that way. Over time, everyday use and the weather wear down the wax, and fabric starts to absorb water instead of shedding it. This 200ml reproofing spray from Halley Stevensons restores that water resistance with a dry, fluorocarbon free finish.
Halley Stevensons have been working with waxed cotton at Baltic Works in Dundee since 1864, and they make the fabric for all of our handmade backpacks. Their spray is the simplest way to look after a Winnats Roll Top, Roll Top Mini, Logan Day Pack or Scout, as well as overshirts and caps.
How to use it: spray from 10 to 15cm away, ideally outdoors, on damp or dry fabric. Leave it to dry for 12 hours for the best results. We recommend reproofing every 12 to 18 months, or whenever water stops beading on the surface.
